LevaFiber is a combination of two types of absorbent differentiated structures that creates the ability to draw exudate away from the wound surface. Drawtex tracheostomy and tube dressing is designed specifically for application around a tracheostomy tube after tracheostomy surgery. The keyhole aperture in the dressing allows it to fit neatly around a tracheostomy tube or other drain or stoma to collect fluid and exudates from the tracheostomy site that ultimately prevent peristomal maceration. Features and Benefits: Facilitates removal of debris Draws and absorbs excessive wound exudate Draws bacteria from the wound Draws harmful MMPs from the wound Drawtex is indicated for wounds with moderate to high levels of exudate, including: Acute Wounds Complex Surgical Wounds Burns Chronic Wounds Leg Ulcers Diabetic Foot Ulcers Pressure Ulcers (Stage 2-4) NOTE: Dratex contraindicated for arterial bleeding How to Use: Step 1. Drawtex may be cut to conform to wound shape. Any side of Drawtex can be used against the wound bed. Step 2. For low exudating or dry wounds, apply a nonadherent (perforated) dressing before applying Drawtex. For best results, ensure dressing has direct contact with wound bed. Step 3. For moderate to highly exudating wounds, apply Drawtex directly to wound bed. For heavy exudate, apply additional layers as necessary. Step 4. Cover with a secondary dressing or bandage of choice. Step 5. Change Drawtex every one to three days, as necessary. Once exudate is under control, dressing may be changed less frequently. If Drawtex is adherent, irrigate with saline for easy removal. Drawtex Tracheostomy & Tube Dressing has 3 mechanisms of action to actively manage sputum, enteric or urinary fluid, and other secretions detrimental to skin integrity Drawtex Rope takes the Drawtex technology even deeper, allowing you to reach deeper undermined or tunneled areas in your wounds without fear of losing the dressing due to saturation. It is comfortable to any environment where fluid needs to be removed, managed, or contained Manufacturer: Drawtex Options: Item NumberSizeEach Qty.Box Qty. 003002" x 2" (5cm x 5cm)1 Dressing1 Box (10 Dressings) 003013" x 3" (7.5cm x 7.5cm)1 Dressing1 Box (10 Dressings) 003024" x 4" (10cm x 10cm)1 Dressing1 Box (10 Dressings) 003036" x 8" (15cm x 20cm)1 Dressing1 Box (10 Dressings) 003048" x 8" (20cm x 20cm)1 Dressing1 Box (10 Dressings) 003053" x 39" (7.5cm x 1m)1 Roll1 Box (5 Rolls) 003064" x 39" (10cm x 1m)1 Roll1 Box (5 Rolls) 003078" x 39" (20cm x 1m)1 Roll1 Box (5 Rolls) 003104" x4" (10cm x 10cm) Tracheostomy & Tube Dressing1 Dressing1 Box (10 Dressings) 003213/8" x 18" (1cm x 46cm) Drawtex Rope1 Dressing1 Box (10 Dressings)
