This McKesson Hydrocellular Foam Dressing uses a perforated silicone gel adhesive that provides gentle but firm adhesion; making it highly conformable and keeping it intact on skin. Its soft silicone minimizes pain to patients and trauma to wounds upon removal, and it affixes securely to dry, intact skin and seals the wound margins to help prevent exudate from leaking on surrounding tissue; thus, minimizing risk of maceration. It features a breathable yet moisture and bacteria resistant outer film layer and an absorbent inner hydrocellular foam pad. This dressing may also be lifted and repositioned without losing its adherent properties, and it maintains a moist wound environment to help promote better healing.
