Proximel Silicone Foam Dressings feature a unique five-layer design that promotes healing by quickly and effectively managing wound exudate while reducing and redistributing pressure at the injury site thereby reducing complications, enhancing patient comfort, and promoting optimal wound care and healing. These dressings are a versatile choice for use with medium and low levels of exudate and are also gentle on patients' skin to reduce irritation and pain and thus enable them to be changed without stripping epidermal cells; they can also be lifted or repositioned without leakage or loosening, and the small perforations in their absorptive pad reduce the risk of in-growth while their waterproof barrier seals out bacteria.
