DermaRite ComfiTel Silicone Contact Layer Wound Dressing has a porous mesh design that allows wound exudate to pass through to absorbent dressing materials and helps reduce pain and risk of damage to the wound. It minimizes pain and potential trauma during dressing removal. It is used as a protective barrier between wound and outer dressing for a variety of wounds, including: Venous ulcers; Pressure ulcers; dry to heavily exudating abrasions; surgical/trauma wounds; first and second degree burns; cuts and lacerations.
