This Mepilex Transfer Dressing is a soft, conformable, foam/silicone dressing that is suitable for a wide variety of wounds. This dressing vertically moves exudate away from the wound into a secondary absorbent pad to help minimize the risk of maceration, and this risk is further minimized by the Safetac layer that seals around the wound margins and prevents the exudate from leaking onto the surrounding skin; plus, it enables the management of difficult-to-dress wounds and minimizes the pain when changing the dressing.
