The BLAST® Bandage provides a 20” x 20” treatment area in the size of a 4” combat bandage. Its wound pad provides covering large enough for the entire back or chest of most casualties for shrapnel wounds or burns. It can be easily wrapped around limbs and secured with the attached elastic wrap, which features “brakes” to help prevent accidental unrolling during high stress application, provide multiple points of adhesion to prevent slippage during the wrapping process, and decrease the chance of the wound being exposed during movement. Product Features: HOOK & LOOP CONTROL STRIPS Built into the elastic wrap to prevent accidental unrolling during application. LARGE TREATMENT AREA The bandage features a 20”x20” treatment area when completely opened up, large enough to cover the entire back or chest of most casualties. WOUND PAD Integrated into the bandage, the nonadherent sterile wound site covers the injury site to assist with sustained bleeding control and keep the wound clear of debris. Additional Features: HEAT & MOISTURE PREVENTION The BLAST® Bandage also provides a removable occlusive layer that will cover a 19” x 19” area or can be used to cover abdominal contents, minimizing the loss of heat and moisture.
