Zetuvit Plus Non-Bordered Superabsorbent Dressings consist of four layers of different materials: on the side facing the wound, these dressings feature a soft, white, hydrophilic, non-woven (viscose and polyamide) that prevents them from sticking to the wound; their core consists of soft cellulose fluff blended with liquid-retaining polyacrylate polymers which is then enclosed in a thin, non-woven fabric that evenly distributes the liquid; and finally, on the side facing away from the wound, these dressings feature a green layer of polypropylene non-woven that is water-repellent but permeable to air and permits gas exchange. These unique dressings do not contain an adhesive layer, so they can be used with compression wraps or with fixation tapes and bandages.
